Frequently Asked Questions
Your questions answered.
We’ve answered some of our most common questions below. If your question hasn’t been answered, feel free to reach out to our team through the contact form below. We’re here to help.
What types of dental emergencies do you treat?
We treat most urgent dental problems, including toothaches, infections, broken or chipped teeth, swelling, lost fillings, damaged crowns, sensitivity and trauma.
We also provide general dental care, including check-ups, cleans, crowns, implants and restorative treatment.
If something is painful, damaged or worrying you, contact us.
Do I need to call first, or can I book directly online?
You can book online in under a minute using our secure booking system. If you prefer to speak with someone or have questions, you are welcome to call us directly.
Both options are available so you can choose what suits you best.
How much will my appointment cost? Are there any hidden fees?
Our standard emergency treatment fee is capped at $300, or $400 on public holidays.
There is no booking fee. We provide clear pricing before treatment begins, and if complex or additional work is required, we will discuss this with you first so there are no surprises.
Can I use my private health insurance?
Yes. We accept all major dental insurance providers.
If you have general dental extras cover and your policy covers part of your treatment, we will process your claim on the spot. Any remaining out-of-pocket cost will be clearly explained before treatment proceeds.
Please bring your health fund card, physical or digital.
What if I need more than one issue treated?
Your appointment allows time to properly diagnose and treat your main concern. Where possible, we will address additional issues during the same visit.
If more extensive treatment is required, we will explain your options clearly and help plan the next steps, whether that is follow-up care with us or a staged treatment plan.
Are you open on public holidays and weekends?
Yes. We are open 365 days a year, including weekends and all public holidays. We also now offer selected daytime appointments during the week, with plans to expand further.
Can I come to you for my regular dental check-ups and cleanings?
Yes. In addition to urgent dental care, we now offer general dentistry, including check-ups, cleans and ongoing treatment.
Many patients first visit us for an emergency and then choose to continue their care with us. We are expanding our daytime availability to support regular appointments as well as after-hours care.
What happens if you can’t fix the issue at my appointment?
We can resolve most urgent dental problems in a single visit. If you require specialist care or more complex treatment, we will explain your options clearly and refer you to the right provider if needed.
You will still receive a full diagnosis, X-rays if required, immediate pain relief and clear next steps so you know exactly what to do.
